Lauren Macke

With a multifaceted background in dance, theatre, and entrepreneurial management, Lauren brings a unique blend of creativity, leadership, and organizational skills to her role as Program Manager at The Simple Good. A proud graduate of the University of Iowa, Lauren holds a BFA in Dance, a BA in Theatre, and a certificate in Entrepreneurial Management.

Prior to joining The Simple Good, Lauren made significant contributions to Premiere Dance Project. As a Genre Leader, Marketing Assistant, and Dance Instructor, Lauren worked in curriculum development, teacher evaluation, and team management. Their role involved designing curricula, overseeing a dynamic team of instructors, and orchestrating engaging events, demonstrating their capability in both creative and logistical domains.

In their current role at The Simple Good, Lauren is eager to use her diverse experience to enhance program initiatives and drive impactful community engagement. With a passion for fostering positive change through the arts and education, Lauren is excited to collaborate with the team to further the organization's mission of spreading the simple good!
