Our series of public art events are all inspired by our belief that ‘good’ means the same to everyone no matter where you go – and that is what connects us as human beings.
Our annual events, intentional gatherings and student showcases are a manifestation of our mission at its core, empowering youth by amplifying their voices and sharing the meaning of ‘good’ through their eyes. By uniting different mediums of art under a single inspiration, we demonstrate the power of community reminding everyone of the change that we become when we join together.

Our innovative TSG Arts Residency Programs are an empowering opportunity for students to share their artwork – and their Simple Good – with the world. We culminate each program with a gallery-style event, both in-person and virtually, to see and hear our students’ meaning of ‘the simple good’ and how they will use it to change the world. Help us “pack the house” for our student presenters and make it truly meaningful for everyone involved. We promise it will be impactful for you too!
Hunt For Good (HFG) is our annual summer fundraiser in the form of a city-wide scavenger hunt to find ‘the simple good’ of Chicago! For three hours, teams compete to solve riddles, complete tasks and discover works of art across the city. Every successfully completed task earns points with the top winning team becoming the official Hunt For Good Champions! The hunt is scored entirely using posts on Instagram – check out this year’s hunt by searching #huntforgoodchi2023 !

City of Big Dreams (COBD) is our annual, art showcase fundraising event that unites poetry, music, dance, and visual art under a single inspiration– the rebirth and transformation of Chicago through our collective dreams by celebrating the meaning of the good that surrounds us. Performances include influential & up and coming artists whose support for community initiatives and artistic missions align with the mission of TSG. All proceeds from this event go towards supporting our mission and grow our impact year over year!
